The Basin -Big Bend National Park

I was in Big Bend last year and inexplicably have been sitting on these pictures since then. I know why, this was my first shoot with my new camera, using an updated method for capturing these 360’s and I was never quite satisfied with the edits but at some point you have to let the art be what it is and just put it out there to be viewed.

All these shots are of the basin (Big Bend National Park, Texas), most of them after dark. The pictures with light in them and stars is moonlight, the milky way shot is after moon set in the “window”. The depth the ISO sensitivitiy can gain on my Nikon D500 is pretty fantastic. Overall I am very pleased with the pictures but have just waited so long, doubt crept in. I can’t wait to get back but until then I will enjoy these shots, I hope you do too.
